Thursday
A colder, blustery day expected with a mixture of sunshine and showers for many areas, though East Anglia and the south east of England may stay completely dry with the best of the sunshine. In the afternoon the showers may turn wintry over the high ground of Scotland. Highs of 5 to 8C but feeling colder in a brisk and gusty north west wind.

Thursday Night
Less windy this evening with most of the showers dying out with clear spells in the east. Later this evening and overnight rain and drizzle will spill back in across Northern Ireland, Scotland and perhaps northern England. Lows at 5 to 8C.

Friday
Generally dry across East Anglia and the far south east of England albeit cloudy. Overcast across the rest of the country with sporadic outbreaks of rain. It stays largely cloudy and windy into the afternoon with some patchy rain here and there. More persistent rain spreads into Wales and south west England tonight. Highs of 8 to 11C.

Saturday
Wet with spells of rain across England and Wales in the morning and for much of the afternoon but drying up in the west later. A few morning showers across Scotland and Northern Ireland will give way to heavier rain later in the afternoon. Highs of 5 to 8C.

Sunday
A dry, bright day for East Anglia, the East Midlands and south east England. For the remainder of the United Kingdom expect lots of cloud and sporadic outbreaks of rain, this heavier for northern Scotland. Outbreaks of rain and drizzle will affect much of the country into the evening and night, though much of it light and patchy away from the west. Back to mild with highs of 8 to 12C.
