Saturday
A cloudy and wet morning over the far south of England with drizzle over southern Wales. The rain will be spreading slowly northwards and it will be heavy on southern coasts. For most of eastern Ireland, the rest of Wales, central and northeast England the morning should be dry and there will be some sunny spells in the northeast. For western Ireland and northwest England as well as western Scotland there will be showers, the heaviest of these in western parts of Scotland. Eastern Scotland should be drier and brighter. For the afternoon the rain clears southeast England slowly, although could be heavy still over parts of Essex and Kent. Heavy showers in western Scotland, these perhaps merging to more persistent rain, and further showers in the far west of Ireland. A few showers over west Wales and northwest England. Drier elsewhere with an odd bright spell. A cold day with temperatures at 6 to 9C.

More persistent rain for Scotland, heavy in the west, this spreading into Ireland too. Through the early hours of the morning the rain reaches northern England and Wales, as it turns drier in western Scotland. Most of the rest of England and Wales should be dry with clearer skies. Winds increasing over Ireland, Scotland and northern England with gales or severe gales in places. Lows near 3 or 4C.

Windy on Sunday morning for many places. Plenty of cloud and outbreaks of rain, most of it light. Heavier bursts of rain affecting western Ireland, western Wales and southwest England. The winds increasing further Sunday afternoon with gales for much of Ireland, Wales and England, gusts to 50mph in the west. Heavy rain affecting much of Ireland, England and western Wales, with lighter rain to the east. Scotland stays damp, with most of the rain in the west. Highs at 8 to 12C.
Monday
A better morning for many on Monday; the winds should decrease and the rain fade away. There will still be showers on western coasts of Scotland, Wales and England as well as western Ireland. Other places will be drier and brighter with a few sunny spells coming through. More persistent rain into the west of Ireland, southwest England and west Wales in the afternoon. Eastern and central parts of England and Scotland should be drier with some sunny spells coming through. Tops near 6 to 8C.
