Windy & damp Unseasonably mild seiten=4 abk=focus
Friday
Another windy day expected across the United Kingdom but not as windy as yesterday. Winds though will be near gale force across western areas. A cloudy, dull morning with outbreaks of rain and drizzle for most places. The rain does look heaviest across Scotland and Northern Ireland. Through the afternoon we'll see very little change with some patchy drizzle across England and Wales and steady rain for Scotland and Northern Ireland. Quite misty over the hills and around the coasts. Unseasonably mild with highs of10 to 14C.
Overnight
Windy this evening and overnight with sporadic outbreaks of mainly light and patchy rain and drizzle. Continued misty over the hills. Across East Anglia and the south east of England it should be dry in the main. Another mild night to come with lows of 7 to 11C.
Saturday
Not as windy today but it stays rather damp with most places seeing some rain. This looks heavier across northern England, Wales and southern Scotland. The rain is forecast to clear western areas in the evening then the east overnight. A few snow showers will affect northern Scotland. With clearing skies it turns colder with a risk of a frost developing inland. Highs of 6 to 11C.
Saturday
Outbreaks of rain across Scotland, Northern Ireland and north west England with some snow over northern Scotland this morning will push away from all but the far north of Scotland by the afternoon. For much of England and Wales it's a fair, dry day with sunny spells and patchy cloud after a cold start. More rain in the north tonight, dry and mostly clear in the south with fog patches. Highs of 5 to 10C.
