Overcast, wet and windy across the United Kingdom this morning with an area of heavier rain across Scotland and Northern Ireland. The rain looks lighter in the south across England and Wales. In the afternoon rain changes to snow across northern Scotland. Elsewhere it stays damp with the heavier rain and drizzle now across southern Scotland, northern England and Wales. Winds will be at gale force around western coasts. Unseasonably mild with highs of 10 to 14C but just 3C in northern Scotland.

Breezy with more snow for northern Scotland this evening. Showers will affect western coasts with light rain across East Anglia and south east England. Overnight it becomes dry, clear and colder for England and Wales with a frost inland. Showers will persist across Scotland with a few wintry ones inland along with some icy patches. Lows of 0 to -2C in the north, 2 to 5C in the south. 7 to 11C.
Sunday
Cold across northern Scotland with morning snow showers then fair and dry. Apart from some patchy rain for southwest Scotland and parts of Northern Ireland, it's a mainly dry and fine day across the United Kingdom with good sunny spells after a cold start. Overnight light rain spreads into Scotland and Northern Ireland with a touch of frost across England and Wales. Highs of 5 to 10C.
Monday
Dry with sunny spells for eastern and southern parts of England this morning. Elsewhere it soon turns wet and windy from the west. In the afternoon it remains dry and bright across East Anglia, The East Midlands and south east England. Rain expected across the rest of the country with some snow over northern Scotland. Gales likely in the west. In the evening the rain spreads into southern England then clears overnight with snow showers for parts of Scotland. Highs of 5 to 10C.
