 <b>Thursday</b><br> Snow showers through Kent, Surrey and Sussex through this morning. These showers could produce a further dusting of snow in places. Little change through the afternoon in these areas with further snow showers, but tending to become drier in the evening. Much brighter skies, and a cold and frosty start to the day over most of the rest of England. Cloud will be bubbling up in the afternoon, although it should stay essentially dry. Increasing cloud in northern England later. Sunshine too for Ireland. Over Scotland and Northern ireland cloud will be increasing with some drizzle through the morning in Highland and the Hebrides. Drizzle will be spreading to much of Northern Ireland, Scotland and northwest England, bringing mist and fog patches too. Temperatures rising to between 3 and 5C, but rising to as high as 10C through the western Isles.

 <b>Thursday night</b><br> Plenty of cloud through the night as a warm front moves southwards. There will be some outbreaks of drizzle, most of them light and tending to be concentrated around western Scotland and northern Welsh coasts. Mist and fog patches about too, with mist covering the hills. An icy night with lows near 3C in the north, -2C in the south. These temperatures rising slowly later.

 <b>Friday</b><br> Northwesterly winds bring a rather cloudy and mist morning for Friday. There will be further drizzle in western Scotland, northern coasts of Wales and southwest England. Mainly dry inland, away from western coasts, although always with that cloud. The afternoon sees many areas experiencing drizzle, although this again focused through western Scotland. Misty again in all places, with fog on western coasts. Temperatures near 6 to 8C by the end of the day.

 <b>Saturday</b><br> Little change into Saturday with plenty of mist and fog patches in places. There will be periods of drizzle over Scotland, northwest England and Northern Ireland. To the south it will be drier, although still cloud and again with some spots of drizzle or light rain. The best of any sunshine on Saturday expected along southern coasts, west of the Isle of Wight. Temperatures at 7 to 9C.
