Thursday
Plenty of cloud around through Thursday morning. Most areas are going to be dry, although the far west and northwest of Scotland may well have a few spots of drizzly rain. The afternoon sees very little change. It will be cloudy for most of the UK and Ireland. Further spots of drizzle and light rain affecting western parts of Scotland, the far northwest of England and the higher ground of Northern Ireland. A mild day with temperatures at 8 to 12C.
Thursday night
Plenty of cloud around again through this evening and overnight. England, Wales and southern Ireland will be staying dry overall. Patchy rain in the north and west of Scotland, northwest England and Northern Ireland will persist through the night. The rain will become more persistent over the west and north of Ireland, and could be heavy at times in western and northern Scotland through the early hours as the winds increase. The rain turning to snow over the Highlands. Lows near 4 to 7C.
Friday
Cloud is likely to break through Friday morning across much of Scotland and Northern Ireland. This will be bringing lots of sunshine and drier conditions here, together with a few showers on northern coasts of Scotland. Thicker cloud to the south with a few spots of rain over northern parts of Wales. This is going to fading away in the afternoon. The cloud will be breaking up and it should be a much brighter afternoon for all but the far south of England, with good spells of sunshine. Temperatures at 8 to 11C.
Saturday
High pressure is likely to be sat over the British Isles through Saturday. There could be a sharp morning frost and some fog patches through central and northern England. Once these clear the day should be dry and bright for all with sunny spells. Feeling cooler with temperatures at 4 to 8C.
