Monday
Cold and breezy with scattered, heavy snow showers across the far north of Scotland this morning. In the afternoon further heavy snow showers will affect northern Scotland with some onto the north coast of Northern Ireland too. For England, Wales and southern Scotland it's a dry sunny afternoon. Highs of 4 to 6C but 0 to 4C across Scotland.

Monday Night
This evening and tonight we'll see further snow showers for northern Scotland and parts of Northern Ireland and these will also develop along North Sea coasts. We may also see some rain the snow moving into the extreme south east of England. Elsewhere a very cold night with a widespread, hard frost. Lows down to 0 to -5C.

Tuesday

Snow showers though are forecast for the north of Scotland, perhaps one or two may turn up across south west England as well. Very cold with a severe frost overnight along with some dense patches of freezing fog. Scattered wintry showers will persist across northern Scotland and the West Country. Highs of -1 to 4C north to south.

Frosty, cold and sunny across much of the country this morning with snow showers around the North Sea coasts. Little change is expected through the afternoon with wintry showers likely around the eastern coasts of England and Scotland. Elsewhere it's dry with long spells of unbroken sunshine. A bitterly cold night to come with a severe frost and snow showers continuing near those eastern coasts. Perhaps some rain gets into western Cornwall and the Isle of Silly by morning.
