Friday
Rather wet and breezy with outbreaks of moderate rain across much of England and Wales this morning, perhaps staying dry across Kent and Sussex. Here the rain lingers through the afternoon but will be very light and patchy in southern England. Mainly a dry but cloudy morning across Scotland and Northern Ireland with just a few showers in the north west but the rain in the south will move into southern Scotland in the afternoon. Another mild day with high temperatures of 8 to 12C.

Overnight
The rain tends to move away to the north into all of Scotland and Northern Ireland, clearing Wales and southern England this evening. Overnight rain is forecast for all Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales and south west England. Dry albeit cloudy for the rest of the United Kingdom. Lows at 6 to 10C.

Saturday
An area of rain is forecast across Scotland into Wales and south west parts of England this morning and this is expected to clear Scotland in the afternoon. Elsewhere it's a dry day with lots of cloud and the best of the sunshine in the far south east of England. Patchy rain is likely for much of England, Wales and southern Scotland overnight. A colder day in the north with tops of 5 to 7C but 12C again in the south.

Sunday
Dry today across Scotland with the best of the sun in the north. Lots of cloud elsewhere with sporadic outbreaks of light rain for Wales and England through the day and this may drift into Northern Ireland in the afternoon too. The looks cloudy and most places will have some patchy light rain or drizzle at times. Misty as well over the hills. Highs near 8 to 12C.
