Saturday
A generally cloudy start to the day across most of the UK, with a band of rain extending through Scotland and northern England. It will be drier to the south of England and through Wales, although there could be some showers here. Dry weather for much of Ireland, apart that is from some showers in the far west, although these will be few and far between.
Into the afternoon There will be plenty of cloud around once again, and also some showers. The most prone spots for the showers appear to be across the hills of west Wales and western Scotland, as well as western Ireland, where it may become breezy. Further showers in northern and eastern England, with more persistent rain in central and southern Scotland. Another mild day at 8 to 12C.
Saturday night
Most of the showers fade away from England and Wales this evening, and during the first part of the night, although there will always be some for Ireland, Scotland and northern England.
After midnight another area of showers will be passing along southern coasts and this is going to be bringing an area of more persistent showers for much of southern Wales and southern England to end the night. Further north there will be some showers, but it should become drier with some clear spells here and there. Lows near 3 to 5C.
Sunday
Morning rain could be affecting southeast England at first, but these should clear eastwards as the morning progresses. There should then be drier weather for most with some bright or sunny spells coming through over much of England, Wales and Scotland.
Showers may affect the west of Scotland and western Scotland, but eastern Ireland should be drier with some sunny spells throughout.
The afternoon sees the winds picking up and it starting to feel cooler. Not a band afternoon though in sunny spells and just a scattering of showers, most in places exposed to the northwest wind. Temperatures at 8 to 12C.
Monday
A few showers down eastern coasts at first on Monday morning. These will be soon clearing away. Elsewhere it should be a brighter start to the day and it will be dry for many too. The afternoon looks set to stay bright with more sunshine for all. However, cloud will be increasing in southwest Scotland and southwest England, making the sunshine hazy. Temperatures at 6 to 10C.
