Cooler and unsettled Early rain in southeast seiten=4 abk=focus

Sunday
Low pressure is going to be in control of the weather through the day. It will be a cloudy start to the morning through all parts of the country, with a few showers here and there. There is a threat of some residual overnight rain through Kent, but this should clear fairly quickly. Into the afternoon the winds will become more northwesterly and many areas will be feeling cooler. There will be some bright or sunny spells coming through, with the best of these through eastern areas. Wales and western parts of England, Scotland and Ireland will be cloudier and wet with showers merging to longer periods of rain, Temperatures at 7 to 10C.

Sunday night
There will be a few showers through the course of the evening, but these are likely to fade away from many areas as the night progresses. There will always be a risk in the northwest flow that western areas of the UK and Ireland could see showers from time to time. It my be breezy too in the far south. A chance of a frost under clear skies in eastern Scotland and northeast England with lows at 1C here. nearer 6C in the west.

Monday
A few showers down eastern coasts of England and Scotland on Monday morning. However, a ridge of high pressure building fro the west will be bringing much better conditions for many. The morning should be bright with good spells of sunshine and it will be dry for most too. Into the afternoon little change for much of England and Scotland, although cloud increasing over Wales and Ireland as well as western England. Temperatures at 6 to 12C.

Tuesday
A wet and windy day. Frequent periods of rain through all areas, and these will be lasting into the afternoon as well. It seems to be southwest Scotland, northwest England, west Wales and southwest England that will have the heaviest of the rain and localised flooding in places. Wet in Ireland too and staying windy in all areas. temperatures at 8 to 14C, so very mild.
