Friday
A cold morning with snow showers likely across northern Scotland, fine and dry elsewhere with long spells of unbroken sunshine though it turns cloudy in the south west with some rain reaching western Cornwall later. More snow showers to come for northern Scotland with the rest of England dry and mostly sunny. High temperatures at 5 to 11C.

Overnight
This evening outbreaks of locally heavy rain will affect all but the far eastern parts of England and Scotland. This leads to a very wet night for all parts with spells of heavy rain and it looks very windy along the channel coast. A milder night to come with low temperatures at 4 to 9C.

Saturday
Windy across East Anglia and the south east of England this morning with an area of rain across Scotland and the eastern half of England. This clears as it turns dry and sunnier here by the afternoon. In the west expect a mixture of sunshine, cloud and showers, some heavy. All areas turn dry by tonight with a risk of a frost. Highs of 6 to 12C north to south.

Sunday
Outbreaks of heavy rain will sweep in across southwest England and Wales this morning and elsewhere after a dry, sunny start, it will cloud over from the west. During the afternoon it becomes windy in the west as the heavy rain moves into all but the far north east of Scotland. All parts look wet and windy for the evening then overnight the rain should clear leaving showers across western areas. Highs of 7 to 12C.
