Sunday
After a dry, bright start, it becomes very windy from the west with outbreaks of rain and drizzle to spread in across Northern Ireland, Wales and central and southern parts of England. This leads to a very windy and wet afternoon with heavy rain moving into all but the far north east of Scotland. Gale to severe gales will affect the country with gusts up to 70 mph around western coasts. Highs at 7 to 10C in the north but up to 13C for southern England.
Overnight
The rain is expected to clear to showers across south west England and Wales as the winds begin to moderate this evening. Continued wet across the remainder of the United Kingdom this evening. Overnight it looks breezy with the rain clearing all parts of the country by morning. A number of showers will affect the north and west. Lows at 4 to 9C.
Monday
Largely dry and bright for central and north-eastern parts of England this morning with a lot of cloud and showers for the rest of the country. A afternoon with some sunshine for East Anglia and south east England with showers for the rest of Britain. A wet night for all parts as rain spills in from the west. The rain looks heavy across southern parts of England. Highs of 7 to 12C.
Tuesday
Any residual rain across Suffolk and Kent should soon clear away this morning otherwise central and eastern parts of England and Scotland will be fine, sunny and dry. A number of showers will affect western coasts. The showers develop more widely in the afternoon affecting all but East Anglia and the south east of England. The showers will be wintry over the Highlands. Persistent rain across southern England in the evening will spread north into all of England, Wales and Northern Ireland in the night. Highs generally around 7 to 11C.
