Thursday
A rather chilly start across much of the United Kingdom. Apart from showers across the north west of Scotland, it's a fine, dry morning with good spells of sunshine. During the course of the afternoon it becomes windy as rain spreads into Scotland, Northern Ireland western parts of England and Wales. It remains fine and dry towards the east with sunny spells. Feeling mild in the sunshine in the south with tops at 10 to 13C.

Overnight
Breezy this evening and we'll see an area of moderate rain spilling east into all but East Anglia and the south east of England. Overnight the rain clears Scotland, western England and Wales with a few coastal showers. Wetter to the south east. Lows at 5 to 9C.

Thursday
Any early residual rain across East Anglia and Kent should soon clear away east. Showers are forecast across western parts of the United Kingdom this morning, mainly dry in the east. In the afternoon most places will be at risk of a few scattered showers, but most will be light and probably dry across the south west of England. More persistent rains sweeps across Scotland, Northern Ireland and the north of England this evening and tonight, dry in the south. A cooler day with highs around 6 to 11C.

Saturday
With a ridge of high pressure close to the south, southern parts of England along with the Midlands and East Anglia should be dry today but with a lot of cloud. For the rest f the country expect sporadic outbreaks of rain. This looks heaviest up across north west Scotland and into Northern Ireland. The rain tends to linger across northern and western areas into the evening and night with central and southern parts of England staying dry. Highs around 10 to 14C.
