Windy, drizzle fading to sunshine Settled, dry and warmer this weekend seiten=4 abk=focus
Saturday
Increasingly windy with lots of low cloud across England and Wales with some patchy drizzle across Wales and southern England. This drizzle should fade this morning as it tends to brighten up in most places. Colder across Scotland and Northern Ireland with patchy cloud and sunny spells. Apart from a few widely scattered, light showers across Wales, much of the United Kingdom should have a dry afternoon. Still quite windy this afternoon with gusts to gale force around the channel coast and around coastal East Anglia and Kent. Top temperatures of 11 to 15C but cold around the windy coasts.
Saturday night
Still quite windy across southern England and Wales into the evening and night. Dry for most areas this evening with some early sunshine. It tends to cloud over in the south east with some rain reaching Kent by midnight. Then overnight an area of rain will affect the extreme southern coastal counties of England. To the north it will remain dry and mostly clear with a frost likely across Scotland and Northern Ireland. Lows at -2 to 3C for Scotland and Northern Ireland, 5 to 8C across England and Wales.
Sunday
Today the gusty easterly wind will persist across much of England and Wales. The rain in the far south of England should clear away by mid morning. Then for all parts of the country it's dry with sunny spells. More cloud with the odd shower is possible this afternoon in south west England while the bulk of the United Kingdom will be staying dry with sunny spells and occasional cloud. Continued dry and clear this evening and tonight. With too much wind in the south we're not expecting a frost but it should become frosty across Scotland and Northern Ireland again. Highs at 11 to 16C for most but again feeling cold in that wind.
Monday
A dry, cold, sunny morning with a frosty start across Northern Ireland and Scotland though it will turn cloudier across the north of Scotland. Today we'll see the winds moderating across England and Wales through the day. It will be a dry day with good spells of sunshine though more cloud may affect eastern and southern coasts at times. All areas will remain under high pressure tonight with mostly clear skies leading to a frost away from central and southern England. Some rain is possible across the Northern Isles. Feeling warm with highs of 12 to 19C.
