Sunny, warm and dry Windy in the south seiten=4 abk=focus

Sunday
quite a windy day to come for central and southern parts of England. Any residual rain in the extreme southern coastal counties of England at first should move away by the middle part of the morning. For the bulk of the United Kingdom it's a dry morning with lots of sunshine. Cold across the north with a frost. In the afternoon perhaps the southern coast of Cornwall may see a few spots of rain for a time but again all other areas will remain dry and mostly sunny. The strong north easterly wind will take the edge off of respectable temperatures of 13 to 16C but just 11C along the channel and south east coast.

Sunday night
Still quite windy across the southern half of England and Wales into the evening and night. Dry for all areas this evening with some early sunshine to end the day. Overnight it remains dry and clear with a frost expected across Scotland and Northern Ireland. Lows at -1 to 3C for Scotland and Northern Ireland, 5 to 9C across England and Wales.

Monday
A dry, cold, sunny morning with a frosty start across Northern Ireland and Scotland though it will turn cloudier across the north of Scotland. Today we'll see the winds moderating across England and Wales through the day though staying windy along the channel coast. It will be a dry day with good spells of sunshine though more cloud may affect eastern and southern coasts at times. All areas will remain under high pressure tonight with mostly clear skies leading to a frost away from central and southern England. Some rain is possible across the Northern Isles. Feeling warm with highs of 12 to 19C.

Tuesday
Patchy, drizzly rain across northeast Scotland and the Northern Isles will clear away this morning. Otherwise we'll see high pressure maintaining across the United Kingdom with all areas having another dry, settled day with good sunny spells. Fine and dry into the evening and night with patchy frost in rural areas by morning. Expect maximum temperatures of 12 to 16C but cooler along North Sea coasts.
