Monday
A dry morning to come across the United Kingdome with lots of sunshine. Cold across Scotland with a frost to start the day. Northern parts of Scotland will turn cloudier in the afternoon with some rain expected for Shetland. For the remainder of Scotland, all of England and Wales it will be another dry, settled afternoon with plenty of sunshine to come. Still quite windy in the far south of England. Expect high temperatures of 12 to 18C but feeling much colder along the channel coast.
Monday night
Still quite breezy across the southern half of England and South Wales into the evening and night. A weak front will bring some patchy rain to eastern Scotland this evening and overnight this may slip into north east England. Elsewhere it's a fine evening with some sunshine then mostly clear and rather cold overnight. A slight frost is possible in sheltered parts of Wales and the Midlands. Lows falling to 0 to 3C but around 7C in the east and south.
Tuesday
Lots of cloud this morning for Northern Ireland, Scotland and northern England. Here there may be a bits of light rain for a time this morning but shouldn't amount too anything. To the south it's a chilly, dry morning with sunny skies. Outbreaks of rain will affect the Northern Isles but for all other areas it's a dry afternoon. Best of the sunshine will be towards the west with more cloud in the east. Rain across Shetland will clear this evening with some patchy rain possible into north eastern parts of Scotland tonight. Another dry, clear night for England, Wales and Northern Ireland with a local frost as the winds fall light. Cooler today with highs of 11 to 14C.
Wednesday
A cell of high pressure will become centred over the United Kingdom today. Apart from some thicker cloud and the odd spot of rain for northern Scotland, the rest of the country looks settled and dry with sunny spells and patchy cloud. A dry evening to come for all areas. Overnight outbreaks of rain will spread into northern Scotland. Cold across England and Wales tonight with a ground frost developing by morning along with a number of locally dense fog patches for central and northern parts of England. Expect maximum temperatures of 12 to 16C.
