Wednesday
A cold start to the morning across the United Kingdom with much of inland Britain see a frost. Otherwise it's a dry morning with plenty of sunshine for most areas. Still a keen north east wind will be blowing in that south eastern corner of England through the day. In the afternoon we may see more in the way of cloud coming in across eastern Scotland, north east England, perhaps East Anglia and the East Midlands. Still lots of sunshine though with high temperatures of 13 to 15C but just 10C across Kent in that stiff wind.

Wednesday night
This evening some drizzly rain will affect the far north of Scotland but overnight this clears and becomes confined to the Northern Isles. Elsewhere across Britain we'll find and cloud melting away early this evening leaving clear skies overnight. This will lead to a local frost in many areas. Lows falling to -1 to 1C in south, 2 to 4C in the north.

Thursday
Apart some rain across Shetland, high pressure will keep it fine and dry across the United Kingdom Any early fog patches will soon go then expect long sunny spells. It becomes quite warm in the south with little in the way of wind. Rain across the Northern Isles will drift into the far north of Scotland overnight. All other areas will have a fry evening with some late sunshine to end the day. Clear then overnight with some fog and patchy frost developing. Expect maximum temperatures of 12 to 16C but up to 19C in the south.

Friday
A cloudy day for Scotland with some rain in the north. Any fog and patchy early frost will clear from England and Wales otherwise dry and sunny. Continued sunny into the afternoon and again it's going to warm up with highs up to 19C in the south with 12 to 16C for most places. Still some rain in the north of Scotland tonight. Dry with clears spells for the remainder of Britain with a touch of frost and patchy fog.
