Good Friday
Overcast with some rain across the far north east of Scotland and the Northern Isles this morning. In the afternoon the rain lingers across the far north of Scotland and Shetland. For England, Wales southern Scotland and Northern Ireland it's s dry, bright but chilly morning with some low cloud and mist around Irish Sea coasts. A few locally dense fog are possible across England and too otherwise expect lots of sunshine. In the afternoon it will remain dry, mostly sunny and pleasantly warm with light wind. Expect highs of 10C to 13C for Scotland and Northern Ireland, 14 to 20C for England and Wales.

Good Friday night
This evening and overnight more rain and drizzle will affect the north of Scotland. Elsewhere across Britain it stay dry with some early evening sunshine for most. Then overnight it turns chilly with a touch of frost in rural locations of central and northern England with mostly clear skies, though low cloud and mist may develop again around Irish Sea coasts. Lows falling to 2 to 6C with a few spots closer to freezing.

Easter Saturday
With high pressure dominating the United Kingdom we are expecting little overall change in the weather. Apart from the far north of Scotland which will still see some rain and drizzle through out the course of the day, the bulk of the United Kingdom will remain settled and dry with sunny spells and some patchy amounts of cloud at times. Central and southern parts of England may see a few early mist patches. More rain for northern Scotland tonight, dry with clear skies and a risk of a frost by morning. Expect high of 12 to 16C.

Easter Sunday
It's looking good for Easter Sunday with most parts of Britain to remain fine and dry with early fog patches and patchy frost clearing to lots of warm, spring sunshine. More cloud and light rain is going to persist across the north of Scotland. The rain becomes heavier in northern Scotland tonight, continued dry elsewhere. Expect maximum temperatures of 12 to 19C.
