Easter Saturday
Rather cold this morning with many areas starting with a local frost. Some locally dense patches of fog across central, southeast and north east England will clear to hazy sunshine. Much of mainland Britain will be dry with good spells of sunshine this morning with a belt of rain lying across the Northern Isles and Shetland. The afternoon stays fine and dry across all areas with lots of sunshine though rather cloudy across the northern half of Scotland with that rain just to the north. Expect highs of 12 to 17C.
Easter Saturday night
Cloudy this evening across the north of Scotland and overnight some rain and drizzle will affect the far north of the country. Otherwise it's a fine, dry evening across much of the United Kingdom with some pleasant sunshine. Continued dry overnight with some patchy frost and some dense fog through central and southern England. Lows of 2 to 4C.
Easter Sunday
With high pressure dominating the United Kingdom we are expecting little overall change in the weather. Apart from the far north of Scotland which will still see some rain and drizzle through out the course of the day, the bulk of the United Kingdom will remain settled and dry with sunny spells and some patchy amounts of cloud at times. Central and southern parts of England will start misty with dense fog patches dispersing. More rain for northern Scotland this evening and this spills in across much of Scotland, perhaps into western parts of Northern Ireland as well by morning. Pleasantly warm in the south with highs of 12 to 18C across the country.
Easter Monday
For Scotland, Northern Ireland northern parts of England it's a cloudier day with sporadic outbreaks of mainly light and patchy rain though the day. For the rest of England and Wales it stays fair and dry with the best of the sunshine to be found across the south of England and East Anglia. Some rain will persist in the north into the evening and night. Expect maximum temperatures of 11 to 18C north to south
