Easter Sunday
With high pressure dominating the United Kingdom we are expecting the weather to remain fine for this Easter Sunday. After a dry, bright morning, rain across Shetland will drift south into northern Scotland in the afternoon. Much of the United Kingdom will be settled and dry with sunny spells and some patchy amounts of cloud at times. Central and southern parts of England will start misty with dense fog patches dispersing then fine and sunny through the afternoon. Feeling pleasantly warm in the sunshine with highs of 12 to 18C.
Easter Sunday Night
Cloudy this evening across the north of Scotland and overnight this rain turns more persistent as it moves in across Northern Ireland and the south of Scotland. Otherwise for England and Wales it's a fine, dry evening with some pleasant sunshine. Continued dry overnight with some patchy frost and some dense fog through central and southern England. Lows of 4 to 8C south to north.
Easter Monday
With high pressure dominating the United Kingdom we are expecting little overall change in the weather. Apart from the far north of Scotland which will still see some rain and drizzle through out the course of the day, the bulk of the United Kingdom will remain settled and dry with sunny spells and some patchy amounts of cloud at times. Central and southern parts of England will start misty with dense fog patches dispersing. More rain for northern Scotland this evening and this spills in across much of Scotland, perhaps into western parts of Northern Ireland as well by morning. Pleasantly warm in the south with highs of 12 to 18C across the country.
Tuesday
Best of the morning sunshine will be in the far south of England this morning. Elsewhere expect lots of cloud with patchy rain across Wales, north west England, Northern Ireland and western Scotland. In the afternoon it's largely dry with just bits of rain across western Scotland. Still a good deal of cloud in the north and west with sunny spells developing across the Midlands, East Anglia and southern England. More light rain to come for western Scotland tonight, dry elsewhere with clear spells across central and southern England. Expect maximum temperatures of 11 to 17C.
