Easter Monday
A cloudy morning across Northern Ireland, Scotland and northern England with sporadic outbreaks of rain. This will be heavier in the north west of Scotland with north east England mainly dry. For Wales and the rest of England it's a dry, bright morning with sunny spells after early mist clears away. In the afternoon it stays damp and overcast with some rain and drizzle. For central and southern England and Wales it will be another fine, dry afternoon with the best of the sunshine towards the south. Expect highs of 10 to 13C in the cloudier, damper north but up to 15 to 19C in the south.
Easter Monday Night
More rain to come across Scotland and Northern Ireland into the evening and night and this may turn a bit heavier across north west Scotland. Generally a dry evening for England and Wales. Overnight it stays fine and dry with clear spells in the south. Lows of 4 to 6C but 9C across Scotland.
Tuesday
Spells of rain and drizzle are likely across northern parts of England, North Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland for this morning, drier and brighter then to the south. Apart from some e patchy rain for Scotland it's generally a dry day with the best of the sunshine always the furthest south you go. Still some light rain to linger across western Scotland and perhaps Northern Ireland. Into the evening and night. Continued dry with some evening sunshine for southern England then mostly clear with some fog overnight. Pleasantly warm in the south with highs of 13 to 19C across the country.
Wednesday
Much of the rain across northern parts of Scotland is going to fizzle out by the afternoon, just leaving a few scattered showers. For the bulk of the United Kingdom it will stay settled as high pressure dominates. Expect plenty of sunshine for most areas with early mist soon clearing away. In the evening a band of cloud and very patchy rain moves into England then clears overnight. Expect maximum temperatures of 11 to 18C north to south
