Tuesday
Overcast and misty across Northern Ireland and Scotland this morning with some patchy, light rain, mainly dry across eastern Scotland and brighter here. The rain clears Northern Ireland by the afternoon but lingers across western Scotland. For England and Wales it's a dry, bright morning with sunny spells after early mist clears away. Here it stays fine and warm with long spells of sunshine throughout the course of the afternoon. Expect highs of 11 to 15C across Scotland and Northern Ireland, 15 to 20C for England and Wales.
Tuesday Night
More light rain and drizzle to come across western Scotland into the evening and night and this may turn a bit heavier across north west Scotland. Continued fine and dry in the evening with some late sunshine for England and Wales. Overnight it stays dry with clear spells leading to some mist and fog to develop. Lows of 4 to 9C.
Wednesday
Still lots of cloud and some patchy drizzly rain across the western half of Scotland today. Rather cloudy but dry for Northern Ireland. Eastern parts of Scotland along with England and Wales will have another dry day with sunny spells and patchy cloud. Still some light rain to linger across western Scotland and perhaps Northern Ireland. Into the evening and night. Continued dry with some evening sunshine for Wales and England then mostly clear with some fog overnight. Pleasantly warm in the south with highs of 15 to 20C across the country.
Thursday
With high pressure in charge it's a dry morning with low cloud and fog patches to disperse to sunny spells. In the afternoon a few showers are forecast to develop across south west England and perhaps Wales. Most other areas are going to remain dry with sunny spells. Scattered showers in the south west will fade with a dry, misty night for the United Kingdom. Expect maximum temperatures of 15 to 19C north to south
