Wednesday
Overcast and misty across northern parts of Scotland this morning with some patchy, light rain. In the afternoon the rain looks to become a bit heavier. Expect a dry day for Northern Ireland but largely cloudy and cool. Patchy low cloudiness and mist across England and Wales will lift as it brightens in all areas this morning. A dry afternoon then with good spells of sunshine. Another warm one with highs of 12 to 15C across Scotland and Northern Ireland, 15 to 20C for England and Wales.
Wednesday Night
Still a good deal of cloud to linger across northern parts of Scotland overnight but it turns dry by the evening. Continued fine and dry in the evening with some late sunshine for southern Scotland, England and Wales. Overnight it stays dry with clear spells leading to some mist and low cloud to develop. Lows of 4 to 9C.
Thursday
With high pressure dominating, it's a fine day to come across the United Kingdom. Central and northern parts of England may start with some fog and low cloud but this should soon go leaving most areas with some hazy sunshine. Continued dry with plenty of sunshine to come throughout the course of the afternoon in all parts. A fine evening then overnight it remains dry perhaps with more in the way of low cloud and mist developing across England and Wales. Pleasantly warm in the south with highs of 15 to 20C across the country.
Friday
Beginnings of a change to more unsettled conditions today. A dry morning though for all parts of the United Kingdom. After any low cloud and mist clears there should be some hazy sunshine for most areas. In the afternoon showers are forecast to develop across Wales and south west England, some may be heavy with a risk of thunder too. The rest of the UK will be staying dry and mostly sunny. A band of thundery rain will lie from north west England into Wales and south west England this evening and this pushes north up into Scotland tonight. Expect maximum temperatures of 15 to 19C north to south
