Rain for north & west Staying dry in the south seiten=4 abk=focus
Saturday
High pressure is going to be holding on this morning over most southern parts of the country. This will be bringing some good spells of sunshine to most of England and eastern Wales, after the clearance of morning mist and fog patches. Little change is expected for the afternoon with more sunshine, and feeling warm here too. Over Ireland and Scotland cloud is going to be more extensive and this will be bringing some outbreaks of rain to much of western Ireland during the morning. More rain across Scotland, some of it heavy in the west. There will be little change through the course of the day with more rain to come over Scotland, and this could be heavy in places. The rain edging eastwards through Ireland although it will be showery. Highs at 12C in western Scotland, 21C in southeast England.
Saturday night
Little change during the course of tonight. There will be largely dry conditions over England and Wales, with skies clear in places. A few mist and fog patches in more sheltered areas towards the morning. For Ireland and Scotland cloud will be producing some periods of rain, and a few of these could be heavy here and there. Most of the rain will be showery in nature, and it is likely to become breezier over Scotland. Temperatures at 4 to 7C for most of the country, but perhaps 2C over the far south of England.
Sunday
Another fair day to come over much of southern and eastern England. Good spells of sunshine here and staying dry as well. It is going to be feeling warm. For Wales, southwest England and northern England there will be more in the way of cloud as a weak front pushes south. This front could trigger an odd shower as it heads south, but for many it should stay dry. Over Ireland and Scotland it will be staying generally dry with sunny spells, although heavy showers could affect more western areas. Highs at 16 to 22C.
Monday
Probably a fairly cloudy day over much of England and Wales with the threat of some drizzle in the north. This should fade during the course of the day. More cloud and rain to come over Ireland and western Scotland, where it could also be fairly windy. Highs at 15 to 20C.
