Friday
A lot of cloud across England and Wales this morning which may be thick enough to give a light shower to south east England at first. Fine and dry across Scotland and Northern Ireland with good spells of sunshine, especially in the west. A cloudy afternoon across south west England and South Wales with showers and some light rain. For the remainder of the United Kingdom it's a fine, dry afternoon with sunny spells and varying amounts of cloud. Highs of 14 to 19C but up to 20 or 21C in the south east of England.
Friday Night
Expect outbreaks of light rain across The West Country, Wales and Northern Ireland for this evening and into the night. Before morning much of the rain should die out. For the rest of the country it should stay dry with a good deal of cloud. Rather windy in the south east tonight but largely clear. A mild night to come with lows near 7 to 12C for most areas.
Saturday
A few spots of rain are possible across Northern Ireland with the odd shower around Cornwall this morning. Most other areas will be fair, dry and bright with occasional sunshine. Much of the United Kingdom looks fine, dry and mostly sunny in the afternoon but rain will push into north west Scotland. A dry evening with some late sunshine as the rain clears north west Scotland. Then mostly clear and dry overnight. Highs at 12 to 15C in the north, 18 to 24C in the south. Cooler around North Sea coasts with a brisk onshore wind.
Sunday
Apart from a few scattered showers across south west England, it's a dry morning across the United Kingdom with lots of sunshine. It becomes very warm across central and southern England and Wales and further showers will develop in the afternoon, some may be heavy with a risk of thunder. For the rest of Britain it should stay dry. Heavy showers across Wales will fade this evening then a dry night to come across the country. Tops of 16 to 20C in the north, 20 to 25C in the south.
