Few thundery showers Mainly dry and sunny seiten=4 abk=focus
Sunday
A breezy day to come across much of the northern half of the country. High pressure will be bringing fine conditions to the west of Scotland and much of Northern Ireland. There could be some low cloud at first through much of eastern and central England, although this is likely to be breaking quite quickly through the course of the morning with sunny spells coming through. For southern Ireland there will be showers, a few of them heavy at times. It won't be long before showers break out over parts of Wales, and into the afternoon scattered thundery showers are likely to be forming through southern parts of England too. Temperatures at 25C over southern coasts of England, nearer 16 or 17C in Scotland where the breeze will keep it cooler. In fact, eastern coasts may not rise above 10 or 11C all day.
Sunday night
Showers this evening look set to affect much of Wales, the Midlands and southwest England, a few of them heavy and thundery. The showers should fade from these areas later in the night, although will be moving into Ireland. Southern coasts of England at risk of showers again later in the night and rather misty here too. For the rest of England and Scotland there will be variable cloud, although staying breezy in the north. Lows near 5 to 9C.
Monday
A band of showers through southern Ireland and Wales and into the south of England. Little change for the afternoon with an odd shower affecting the area once again. The best of the sunshine on Monday across Scotland and much of England, northern Wales and the north of Ireland. Rather breezy over the north where the wind could be strong. Highs at 17 to 21C.
Tuesday
A further risk of some showers breaking out through the southern parts of Ireland and southern England through Tuesday. For most of the country through the day is going to be dry with sunny spells. The best of the sunshine is always likely over western parts of Scotland. Remaining breezy in the north. Highs near 17 to 22C for most.
