Showery rain in south west Increasingly windy seiten=4 abk=focus

Monday
Breezy this morning with a risk of showery rain for Hampshire in to south west England and southern parts of Wales. Dry elsewhere with sunny spells. In the afternoon there remains the risk of showery rain across Wales and the West Country with a risk of an isolated shower for southern England but generally dry. All other areas will stay dry and mostly sunny. Highs of 14 to 19C but feeling cooler along North Sea coasts with that brisk easterly wind.

Monday Night
Rather windy across England and Wales this evening with all areas fair and dry with some evening sunshine except for south west England where further rain is likely. Over the rain in the south west moves back into Wales while the rest of the United Kingdom stays fine and dry. Lows of 7 to 11C for most areas.

Tuesday
Little overall change is expected in the weather today. It looks rather windy and rain will persist across southern parts of Wales and south west England. For all other areas it will be staying fine and dry with sunny spells and occasional cloud. In the evening and night a band of rain is forecast to lie across the far south of England and South Wales. To the north it will remain dry with clear spells. Tops of 14 to 20C.

Wednesday
Breezy today and in the morning some rain is possible across southern England. The remainder of the United Kingdom will be fair, dry and bright with sunny spells. Scattered showers are likely across Wales for the afternoon while it remains fine and dry for the rest of the country. A dry evening and night to come across Britain but some light rain may fall across northern Scotland. Cooler today with tops of 14 to 17C.
