Early cloud breaking Breezy in the south seiten=4 abk=focus
Thursday
Morning low cloud is again going to be a problem for the early part of today. It will be affecting much of eastern Scotland, northeast England, East Anglia and may well extend through the Midlands and southeast England. Breezy across the southeast too, and it will be taking a while for the cloud to be burning back to the coasts. Further west it will be a fine morning again. There will be plenty of sunshine and dry conditions for most. The afternoon sees little change with plenty of dry weather around. Cloud and fog could be troubling eastern coasts. There is also the threat of a shower breaking out over the Scottish mountains and an outside chance of a shower in central Ireland too. Generally though, it should be dry. Highs near 11C on eastern coasts, 22C inland.
Thursday night
The low cloud pushing back inland through Thursday night. Once again it will be the eastern coasts that are most affected, although the low cloud pushing inland too. It should be dry everywhere, with the clearest of the skies over Wales and the west of Scotland and Ireland. A chilly night with the winds easing and lows near 2 to 4C under the clearer skies, and a risk of a ground frost in places.
Friday
A brisk northeast breeze blowing through the extreme southeast through Friday. There is the chance of some showers breaking out here later in the day. More low cloud will be affecting many eastern and central areas at first, but this should break and clear away through the morning with sunny spells coming through. The best of the sunshine will be through Wales, western England and Ireland, although there is a chance of a shower forming over southern Ireland later in the day. Temperatures at 21C in southern England, nearer 11C on the cooler east coast.
Saturday
High pressure dominates again through Saturday. There will be some low cloud around again, especially through northeast England, East Anglia and the Midlands. There is the risk of some drizzle from this cloud, but it should break and then the morning will be bright with sunny spells. The best of the sunshine again further west, where with lighter winds it should feel warm. Highs near 23C in parts of southwest Wales, but 12C on the cooler east coast.
