Low pressure dominating the weather through the British Isles and Ireland today. Picking out detail in the weather in quite difficult for today. However, there is likely to be plenty of cloud around through the England, Wales and southern Ireland and it will be windy over southern England. This is going to be producing some showers, most of them in the Midlands, Wales and Ireland. For northern England and Scotland as well as Northern ireland it is going to be cloudy too with further outbreaks of rain. This afternoon sees more persistent rain across Wales and southwest England as well as southern Ireland. Showers across Scotland, with a few sunny spells here and there. The best of the sunshine in the far northwest of Scotland. Temperatures may reach 18C in the far south of England, but 11C over the cloudier parts of northern England.
Saturday night
A band of rain passing northwards through Wales and the Midlands, eventually into northern England and much of Ireland. Most of the rain will be light and there will be low cloud covering the hills with fog on the western coasts of Wales and England. Another area of rain through central Scotland and Northern Ireland, whilst the far north of Scotland stays dry. Misty and murky over southern England with some drizzle here. lows at 5 to 9C.

A very disturbed day looks likely for Sunday. Rain will be moving into southern Ireland, southern Wales and much of southern England in the morning, some of the rain heavy. A further band of rain through Northern Ireland and northern England, whilst Scotland will have plenty of cloud and a few spots of rain. Northern Scotland should be dry. The afternoon becomes wet over a large part of Ireland, Wales and England with some heavy rain at times. Showers for central and southern Scotland, whilst northern and northwestern Scotland stays mainly dry. Temperatures at 11 to 18C.

Low pressure over central and eastern parts of the British Isles. Rain, heavy at times, for much of central, southern and eastern England, this only slowly clearing eastwards. Dryier weather through Scotland, western England, Wales and Ireland, although cold here and still with a few showers. The drier weather edging slowly eastwards. Highs at 10C on eastern coasts, nearer 15C in the brighter west.
