Monday
A cloudy morning through much of England with some outbreaks of rain still affecting the northeast, central and eastern areas. This rain is going to be slipping slowly eastwards through the course of the morning, but is likely to last through much of the afternoon over the far southeast. Brighter weather to the west with sunshine over southwest England and Wales, this brighter weather extending through northwest England and western parts of the Midlands. Sunny spells and mainly dry weather for Ireland and southern Scotland. Over northern Scotland showers are likely and the showers are oging to be heavy at times, as well as thundery in places. The afteroon sees the showers down the eastern and northern coasts of Scotland. Highs at 9 to 16C and feeling cool in the wind.

Monday night
Showers over northern and eastern Scotland, a few of them on the heavy side here and there. Drier to the west and south of Scotland. Mainly dry for the rest of England and Wales to start the night with skies becoming clearer. rain will be moving into Ireland and this will be spreading to Wales, southwest England and the western Midlands by the evening. Lows at 2C in southern Scotland, 5C in central England.

Tuesday
Cloudy with outbreaks of rain over Ireland, Wales and Scotland, most of it light but an odd heavier burst is possible over the Welsh mountain. Becoing drier for Ireland after a wet start, with sunny spells in the afternoon. Staying cloud with rain over the rest of England through the afternoon. Scotland should be brighter with some sunny spells and the threat of an odd shower in the east, but these tending to fade away. Highs at 10 to 17C.

Wednesday
A few showers over the far southeast on Wednesday morning, but these fading away. It should then become drier for most of the country with sunny spells. The afternoon sees a few showers deceloping over the high ground of Scotland, England and Wales. Temperatures at 14 to a warm 20C.
