Tuesday
Heavy showers soon replaces the rain early this morning across Wales, and western parts of England. The rest of England will have spells of rain, heavy in places with westerly gales along the channel coast. Except for a few showers it's a dry, mostly sunny morning across Northern Ireland and Scotland. By the early part of the afternoon the rain should have cleared eastern England then expect scattered showers for England, Wales and eastern Scotland, a few heavy. Mainly fine and dry across western Scotland and Northern Ireland along with Wales and the West Country. Highs of 14 to 16C for most places.
Tuesday Night
Any scattered showers in the south east corner of England should go then a dry evening across the country with some evening sunshine to come. Overnight and area of rain is forecast to spread in across Northern Ireland reaching the western coasts of Scotland and Wales by morning. Elsewhere it's dry with clear spells. Northern, inland areas could see a touch of frost before it clouds over. Lows of 0 to 4C in the north, 4 to 7C in the south.
Wednesday
A dry, bright then cloudy morning to come across East Anglia and the far south of England. A front will spread rain and drizzle with extensive fog over the hills and coasts this morning. All areas look wet for the afternoon with spells of rain and drizzle, this heaviest across northern England and Scotland. Mostly dry this evening and tonight for Scotland while more rain is likely for the reminder of the United Kingdom. Look for highs of 10 to 15C.
Thursday
Rain is expected for Wales and central and southern England this morning and this gradually clears from the north with patchy rain in the far south clearing in the afternoon. Mainly dry with some sunshine to the north though the north of Scotland will see showers. Rain spills into western Britain this evening then sweeps into all areas overnight. Expect highs of 12 to 17C.
