Friday
Increasingly windy across the United Kingdom this morning and in the afternoon gales will affect Northern Ireland and Scotland. This morning looks overcast, dull and misty with outbreaks of rain, heavier in the north with East Anglia and south east England largely dry. In the afternoon the far south east corner of England may be dry and bright but elsewhere it stays cloudy width rain and showers, much of it light across England. Later this afternoon the rain clears much of England. Highs of 13 to 16C for most places but up to 21C in the south east in any brightness.
Friday Night
Continued windy into the evening and night with gales persisting in the north. A band of rain will lie across Scotland into Northern Ireland this evening with showers around western coasts. It stays dry across central, southern and eastern parts of England tonight with other areas damp with spells of rain. Lows of 7 to 10C.
Saturday
A windy, blustery day to come with plenty of heavy showers this morning across northern and western areas, dry and sunnier in the east. All parts will have an afternoon of sunshine, cloud and showers, many locally heavy with a risk of thunder. Most of the showers this evening will become confined to the western coasts as it becomes less windy tonight. Look for highs of 12 to 17C.
Sunday
A number of showers are forecast across Scotland, Northern Ireland and northern England this morning with just the odd shower and more sunshine to the south. Little change to come through the afternoon with most of the showers across the northern half of Britain and the best of the dry, sunnier weather in the south. More persistent rain spreads into northern Scotland tonight with the bulk of the country dry and mostly clear. Expect highs of 12 to 17C.
