Saturday
Low pressure to the north of Scotland is going to be bringing an unsettled day to much of northern and western Britain and Ireland. There will be frequent showers through Scotland and Ireland, some of them heavy at times in the west. The showers also merge to longer periods of rain over northern Scotland. Winds will be to gale force over Scotland, northern England and Ireland, as well as the north coast of Scotland. To the south it will be a bright morning, although breezy. There will be sunny spells for all, with an odd shower on western coasts of England and heavier showers in west and north Wales. Inland through the Midlands, southern and eastern England there will be fewer showers with sunny spells here, and the winds easing in the south later. Temperatures at 12C in western Scotland, 18C in southern England.
Saturday night
A threat of some heavier showers passing through Ireland during the night, these reaching the western coasts of Wales by the morning. Further showers in the north and west of Scotland too, although these becoming more scattered. Elsewhere it will be turning dry with the skies clearing. The winds will be easing off too, although it stays breezy in northern Scotland. Lows near 3 to 7C.
Sunday
A fine and cool morning for much of England, Wales and eastern Scotland. Plenty of sunshine to come here and staying dry throughout. There will be some showers breaking out in the west of Scotland and Ireland, these passing eastwards and affecting the western coasts of Wales and possibly northwest England later in the day. For other places there is the threat of an isolated shower mixed in with the sunny spells. Temperatures at 12 to 19C.
Monday
A band of cloud and rain passing through Scotland today, the rain mostly showery and generally affecting western coasts. Some showers and cloud over western Ireland too. There is a threat of some showers in the afternoon in northern England, but for the vast majority of England and Wales the day is likely to be staying dry with more sunshine and temperatures around12C in northern Scotland, 20C over southern England.
