Sunday
A fine morning for many parts of England and Wales. Lots of sunshine to come over the Midlands and northern England as well as Wales. There could be some high cloud over the far southeast making the sunshine hazy. For Ireland and western Scotland there will be some showers, a few of them on the heavy side. Into the afternoon little change is expected with some more heavy showers to come through western Scotland and Ireland. A few showers could affect western Wales and northwest England too, but for the most part most areas should be dry and fine. Cloud probably thickening in the far southeast. Highs around 12C for western Scotland, nearer 20C in southern England.
Sunday night
Further showers for central and western parts of Scotland tonight, as well as for the northern parts of Ireland. Western Ireland should become dry with clear skies, as will western Scotland. For most of England and Wales the night should be a dry one with clear spells, although later in the night an odd shower may affect the west of Wales and Cumbria. In the far southeast cloud may thicken enough to bring some outbreaks of rain into Kent and Sussex. Lows around. A touch of frost for northern and central England with lows of 0C in rural areas, holding to 11C in the far southeast.
Monday
Fairly low confidence in the forecast for Monday, but it does look as though many southeastern and southern coastal regions of England may be in for a dull day with drizzle and outbreaks of rain. Murky, misty and humid here too. For the rest of England, Wales, eastern Scotland and eastern Ireland the day is going to be a fine one with sunny spells, although this hazy in the south. An increasing wind may bring some rain into western Scotland later. Highs at 21C in the sunshine in the Midlands, nearer 14C in Northern Ireland.
Tuesday
High pressure over the south of England bringing a fair day here with some good spells of sunshine. There could be some low cloud and mist along southern and southwestern coasts of England. For northern England, Scotland and Ireland the day is going to be cloudier with some outbreaks of rain and drizzle, most of these to the west. Highs at 20C over southern England, 10C in western Scotland.
