Wednesday
Some morning mist and fog patches over southern and central parts of England and Wales this morning. However, these will be clearing away allowing plenty of sunny spells to come through. The cloud and rain also affecting much of the far north of England and western parts of Scotland. To the east of Scotland it should be a little bit brighter with some sunny spells coming through. Very warm in the south at 24C, cooler for western Scotland near 14C.
Wednesday night
Showery bursts of rain during this evening across much of Scotland and the northern coasts of Northern Ireland. The rain may become heavier and more persistent later in the night through western Scotland. For England, Wales and southern parts of Ireland the night should be mainly dry, and skies should be clear in the south. Temperatures down to around 6 to 10C.
Thursday
Cloud and outbreaks of rain for much of the west and north of Ireland. Further cloud and rain affecting much of western and southern Scotland, although it should be turning brighter to the far north, although there will be some showers here. The cloud and outbreaks of rain slipping into northern England, as cloud increases through Wales. For most of central and southern England it should be dry with hazy sunshine. The best of the sunshine across southern England, where it will be feeling very warm again. Highs at 25C in southern England, a much cooler 12C over the far north of Scotland.
Friday

These showers could become heavy in the afternoon and thundery. Temperatures at 14C in the far north of Scotland, 24C in the south.
