Thursday
Moderate, steady rain is forecast this morning for north west Scotland with light, drizzly rain across the rest of Scotland, Northern Ireland and north west England. Rather misty around the south west coast and coastal Wales. Fine, sunny and dry for the rest of England. In the afternoon it stays dry and mostly sunny and very warm too for central and southern England. Cloudy to the north with outbreaks of rain and drizzle. Highs of 12 to 16C in the north but 20 to 25C across the south with light winds.

Thursday Night
Drizzly rain is expected from North Wales northward into Scotland this evening as it remains dry to the south. A mild, misty night to come as the rain edges a bit farther south into the North Midlands. A lot of low cloud is likely across the south of England with some fog. Lows of 10 to 14C.

Friday
Still warm still for southern parts of England today. An area of rain across northern England and Wales this morning will turn more showery as it heads south in the afternoon. Then largely dry for Northern Ireland, southern Scotland and northern England with showers too for northern Scotland. Most places become cooler tonight with some rain perhaps lingering in the far south east of England. Expect highs of 12 to 23C north to south.

Saturday
Not as warm then today with a scattering of light showers across Northern Ireland, western Scotland and Wales. Fine, dry and sunnier for the rest of Britain. In the afternoon a number of showers will develop in many areas perhaps the south east and East Anglia staying dry with the best of the sunshine. Heavier rain is likely for south west England in the evening and this spreads in southern England and Wales overnight. Expect highs of 11 to 18C.
