Monday
Very windy across England this morning with north easterly gales moderating during the course of the afternoon. It looks wet this morning too with spells of heavy rain which is expected to clear all but Kent by the end of the afternoon as it dries up in the west. South west England and Wales should start and end dry with some sunshine. A number of showers are likely across Northern Ireland and western Scotland through the day. Feeling again cold today with highs only around 8 to 10C in the east and 10 to 13C in the west.
Monday Night
Breezy this evening as rain pushes back onto North Sea coasts and into much of Scotland. Mainly dry further west. Overnight a spell of heavier rain spills in across Scotland and northern England, perhaps reaching parts of Northern Ireland. Dry with well broken cloud for Wales and southern England. A cold night with lows of 2 to 4C in the clearer south, 7 to 9C in the rain in the north.
Tuesday
Another rather windy and cold day with rain across northern Britain to slip south into Wales. A few showers are likely across south west England. For central and south east England it looks chiefly dry with a good deal of cloud and brief sunnier spells. Outbreaks of rain spread into all areas in the evening and lingers through the night too. Expect highs of 9 to 13C north to south.
Wednesday
With low pressure over the country much of the United Kingdom is going to stay wet with further spells of rain. Perhaps it turns a bit drier and drier across north west England and south west Scotland in the afternoon. More rain is expected through the evening and night with showers in the far south of England. Expect highs of 10 to 14C.
