Any low cloud and fog across central and eastern parts of England and Scotland this morning will retreat back to North sea coasts. Outbreaks of rain are forecast across Northern Ireland, Scotland and the far west of England and Wales this morning with the east dry and sunny. In the afternoon the area of rain in the west will push into all of western England and Wales with a number of showers developing in the east. South east England may escape with a dry, sunny and warm afternoon. Expect highs of 16 to 19C in the west, 20 to 24C in the east.

It turns dry across Northern Ireland and western parts of Britain this evening with heavy rain across northern Scotland. Lighter rain will affect the rest of Scotland and central and southern England. Overnight a band of rain will lie across eastern Scotland and eastern England. Lows of 7 to 13C.

Fine and sunny this morning across Northern Ireland and western parts of Scotland, England and Wales. A lot of cloud in the east with some light rain. Still some patchy rain here into the afternoon but becoming largely dry except for a few sharp showers across southern England. Some rain lingers near eastern coasts into the evening and night, dry and clear towards the west. Expect highs of 16 to 21C.
Tuesday
Any spots of patchy rain through central England and Scotland will fade away this morning with all areas then dry under developing high pressure. It's a fine afternoon then across Britain with sunny spells and occasional cloud. Continued dry with some evening sunshine ahead of a dry clear night. Expect highs of 16 to 21C north to south.
