Wednesday
Low cloud is again expected to be a problem over eastern coastal areas during this morning. This could be thick enough to produce a spot of drizzle, and may also bring some mist and fog patches too. Away from the eastern coasts the morning is going to be dry and bright with plenty of sunshine. The cloud in the east should start to burn back to the coast, so the sun coming through for many. Into this afternoon it will be dry and fairly warm for most. More sunshine to come too, although some patches of low cloud always drifting onto eastern coasts. There is a threat of a shower affecting the higher ground of Scotland. Temperatures at 17C on eastern coasts, nearer 23C through parts of Wales and southern England.
Wednesday night
Becoming breezy over the southeast tonight, and this increased wind allowing lower cloud to push further westwards. Eventually, much of the east of Scotland, England and the Midlands could become cloudy, with the risk of some outbreaks of drizzle through parts of east Anglia. Most of Wales, southwest England, western Scotland and Ireland should be drier with the skies largely clear here. Remaining breezy throughout southern England. Temperatures down to between 7 and 12C.
Thursday
Fairly cloudy for much of central and eastern England, as well as eastern Scotland this morning. The cloud should break up though, although this process may be quite slow, with it being afternoon before the sun comes through over the far east of England. The best of the sunshine again across Wales and western England, as well as western Scotland and Ireland. showers are likely to develop in the afternoon over the Pennines and Scottish hills and mountains, one or two of them heavy and thundery. Rather breezy to the south, temperatures at 16C on eastern coasts, 25C in western Wales.
Friday
Low cloud again through eastern areas this morning, although the cloud perhaps not extending as far inland as on Thursday morning. The cloud should burn back to the coasts fairly quickly, with most paces then becoming dry and warm. The best of the sunshine will be through western parts of England and Wales. Showers are likely to develop through western and central parts of Scotland, although these fairly well isolated. Temperatures at 19C on eastern coasts, nearer 27C in parts of Wales and southern England.
