Friday
Rain is expected across Kent into East Anglia this morning with a few heavy bursts possible. Much of this fades in the afternoon. Some rain too this morning for Scotland which turns more showery in the afternoon as it brightens up. A lot of low cloud for central and eastern England too with some drizzle this morning. Perhaps it brightens up here through the afternoon in places. Dry in the far west with the best of the sunshine through the day. Expect highs of 15 to 24C.

Friday Night
Any remaining showers Scotland will soon fade this evening with much of the country try with some late sunshine to come, though still lots of cloud across eastern England. A dry night across England and Wales with a risk of some low cloud and mist developing by morning. Lows of 8 to 12C.

Saturday
Any patchy drizzly bits of rain in the north west of Scotland should fade away this morning. Also any low cloud and mist across central and eastern parts of England and Scotland will retreat back to North Sea coasts leaving the bulk of the United Kingdom with a fine, summer's day with lots of sunshine. Continued dry with some evening sunshine ahead of a dry clear night the west while low cloud and fog mat filter back into central and eastern areas. Expect highs of 18 to 23C north to south.

Sunday
A fine morning with sunny spells once any low and mist disperses. In the afternoon a few well scattered showers may pop up across south west England, Wales and western Scotland. Otherwise it's dry and sunny with a light easterly breezy keep the coasts a bit fresher. Overnight a band of rain may drift in across south west England otherwise dry and misty. Expect highs of 20 to 25C north to south.
