Cloudy start, brighter later Best sunshine in west seiten=4 abk=focus

Saturday
A murky, misty start to Saturday morning over much of England and Wales. Outbreaks of drizzle are likely to be affecting parts of East Anglia and the southeast, these only slowly fading, with some drizzle also over high ground just about anywhere in England. Gradually the cloud should break allowing some sunny spells to come through, although a band of thicker cloud is expected to edge slowy through the Midlands bringing light rain with it. Further north Scotland will have a few bright or sunny spells, the best in the west, although again here morning mist may be a problem. Low cloud on eastern cvoasts will produce spots of drizzle. Temperatures at 15C on eastern coasts but nearer 25C where the sun comes out over parts of southern wales.

Saturday night
The band of thicker cloud affecting much of England, away from the southwest and far east, during the course of tonight. There could be some more outbreaks of light rain and drizzle, making it damp for many. Remaining misty and murky too. Drier for the southwest, with a few thundery showers close to the coasts of East Anglia. Western Wales should be dry with clearer skies, as will be Ireland and western Scotland. East Scotland always troubled by lower cloud. Lows near 7 to 12C.

Sunday
A murky start again on Sunday with plenty of cloud and mist around. There could be some patchy outbreaks of rain just about anywhere, with parts of the Midlands and northern England most favoured to see them. Cloud should begin to break up as the day progresses with the sun coming through, perhaps triggering a few showers. The best of the sunshine in England on Sunday will be through the southwest. For Scotland and Ireland west is best again, with dry weather and sunny spells here, although to the east low cloud remains. Temperatures at 16C in eastern Scotland, 24C in parts of the sunnier southwest of England.

Monday
More of a showery day on Monday. There are indications of a spell of thundery rain moving through the far south of Ireland and into southwest England in the morning. Much of England and Wales will be cloud, and then through the morning some heavy showers are going to be forming. These heaviest through the Midlands and Wales as well as southern England, where there could also be thunderstorms. Eastern parts of Scotland will have some low cloud, whilst the west shoud be drier and brighter. Temperatures at 14C in the east, 22C in the west.
