Heavy showers developing Very warm & humid seiten=4 abk=focus

Monday
Again much of central and eastern parts of England should start the morning with a good deal of low cloud and mist which slowly retreats eastward towards the North Sea coasts. As it does so skies turn sunny. Just a few scattered showers this morning across Wales, south west England and western Scotland. In the afternoon the showers should develop more widely, some heavy with a risk of a rumble of thunder. Perhaps few showers to come across East Anglia and south east England with the best of the sunshine here. Very warm today with highs at 20 to 26C.

Monday Night
Showers across Wales and the West Midlands will fade away in the early evening with some good spells of late sunshine for most places. Overnight much of the United Kingdom looks dry with low cloud and fog tending to spill in across eastern and central parts of England. A mild night with minimums of 10 to 14C.

Tuesday
Very warm and humid across the country today. Showers already in the south west and across Wales will develop across much of the United Kingdom in the morning, turning heavy and thundery for the afternoon. Most of the showers will fade from England and Wales tonight with some rain likely across Scotland. Expect highs of 20 to 26C.

Wednesday
In the morning a band of rain is expected to lie from Northern Ireland into northern England and here it remains into the afternoon. Mainly dry to the north and south of this with just the odd shower in the south. In the afternoon some rain may spread in across south west England. This area of rain then becomes more widespread as it moves into much of the United Kingdom overnight. Not so warm today, especially in the north with highs of 12 to 16C but 20 to 24C across England ad Wales.
