Friday
A band of moderate to locally heavy rain will lie across Northern Ireland, southern Scotland and northern England. Here this tends to linger well into the afternoon. To the north across northern Scotland it's a dry day with sunshine giving way to cloud. To the south across Wales and southern England showers will break out, many heavy with a risk of thunderstorms. Perhaps few showers will happen in the south east of England. Cold in the rain with highs of 10 to 12C and up to 19C in south.
Friday Night
The heavy showers in the south will fade throughout the evening, then largely dry but dull and misty overnight. More rain to come from North Wales and the North Midlands northward, moving into all of Scotland, though it will turn a bit lighter. A mild night with minimums of 10 to 13C.
Saturday
Chilly today and this morning expect heavy showers across East Anglia and south east England. Elsewhere there will be rain. Little change then through the course of the afternoon but we may see something drier moving into south west England and southern parts of Northern Ireland. It then turns dry this evening in the south east as well with light rain across Scotland and northern England. Patchy rain is expected to persist away from the south of England during the night. Expect highs of 13 to 17C.
Sunday
Across Wales and central and southern England, it's dry but grey start to the morning then it brightens up. Mostly cloudy across Scotland, northern England and Northern Ireland with scattered showers. Here the showers will become heavy in the afternoon and we'll see some rain moving into the south west of England. Fair and dry in between with some sunshine coming along. The rain in the south west pushes into much of England and Wales overnight. Top temperatures of 15 to 21C.
