Saturday
An area of heavy rain across northern parts of Scotland in the morning will become light during the afternoon. Showers are expected from the word go across the rest of the United Kingdom and these turning heavy and thundery later in the morning into the afternoon. Perhaps Northern Ireland could stay dry but wit a lot of cloud. Temperatures will be below normal with highs of 14 to 19C.

Saturday Night
During the first half the evening the showers should clear from England and Wales, then dry overnight with a good deal of low cloud and mist developing. Light outbreaks of rain will linger across Scotland into the evening and night. A mild night with minimums of 10 to 12C.

Sunday
Across Wales and central and southern England, it's dry but grey start to the morning then it brightens up. Mostly cloudy across Scotland, northern England and Northern Ireland with scattered showers. Here the showers will become heavy in the afternoon and we'll see some rain moving into the south west of England. Fair and dry in between with some sunshine coming along. The rain in the south west pushes into much of England and Wales overnight. Top temperatures of 15 to 21C.

Sunday
A persistent area of rain across Wales and northern England will turn more showery during the afternoon. To the south across central and southern England morning showers will become heavy with a slight risk of thunder in the afternoon. A number of showers will also fall across Scotland and Northern Ireland. As the showers die out this evening, rain spreads in across Scotland and south west England ion the night. Top temperatures of 16 to 23C.
