Drier, a few showers Rain moving into the south seiten=4 abk=focus

Sunday
Apart from a few well scattered showers across England and Wales it looks a lot drier and sunnier this morning. More showers though to be found across Scotland and Northern Ireland. In the afternoon outbreaks of rain will move out of the channel into the far south of England with sunny spells and a few showers across the rest of England and Wales. Heavier showers will continue across Scotland and Northern Ireland, interspersed with sunnier periods. Temperatures will be slightly below normal with highs of 16 to 21C.

Sunday Night
Outbreaks of rain in the far south will move into southern Wales and al of southern England in the evening with a few early showers to the north. Overnight the rain spreads into all of Wales and as far north as the Midlands and East Anglia. To the north it's largely dry. A mild night in the south with minimums of 10 to 12C but down to 5 to 8C in the north.

Monday
A persistent area of rain across Wales and northern England will turn more showery during the afternoon. To the south across central and southern England morning showers will become heavy with a slight risk of thunder in the afternoon. A number of showers will also fall across Scotland and Northern Ireland. As the showers die out this evening, rain spreads in across Scotland and south west England ion the night. Top temperatures of 16 to 23C.

Tuesday
Today we'll find an area of rain, heavy at times, across western Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales and The West Country and here it will remain through the afternoon. To the east it's a fair, dry, bright morning before showers develop across The Midlands in the afternoon. Lighter but persistent rain will linger in the north and west into the evening and night with showers expected across eastern Scotland and eastern England. Highs in a range of 17 to 24C.
