Friday
A largely fine, dry and bright morning for northern Ireland. Outbreaks of rain will affect the south east corner of England. Elsewhere expect showers and many will turn heavy. All parts of the country will have an afternoon of sunnier spells and shower, many locally heavy with a risk of a rumble of thunder. Expect maximum temperatures of 15 to 19C but up to 20 to 21C in any sunshine in the south.

Friday Night
Most of the showers will become confined to western coasts of England and Wales during the course of the evening. Overnight outbreaks of mainly light rain are expected for Scotland and Northern Ireland while it's a dry night across England and Wales. Minimums of 10 to 12C.

Friday
Expect rain for the far north of Scotland today. After a bright start showers again will quickly develop across much of the United Kingdom, these heavy with thunder into the afternoon. It may dry up across western parts of Wales, Cornwall and West Devon. Rather cloudy into the evening and night with showers lingering around western coasts of Britain. Highs of 15 to 19C.

Sunday
Little change is expected across Britain today with low pressure remaining in charge. Lots of showers to come for England, Wales and Northern Ireland, these frequent and heavy interspersed with fleeting sunnier spells. A dry night to come in the far south of England but for most places it's cloudy and rain spreads south. Highs of 12 to 17C.
