Tuesday
Very windy this morning with northerly winds to gale force across eastern parts of England Scotland. Through the day the winds will be gradually moderating. Outbreaks of rain near to North Sea coasts will be clearing away to the east this morning with much of the United Kingdom generally dry with a good deal of cloud and a few sunnier spells. Light rain spreads into Northern Ireland during the afternoon while the bulk of Britain will stay dry with more in the way of sunshine coming through. Feeling cold today with maximum temperatures well below normal at 11 to 15C.
Tuesday Night
Less windy this evening with much of the United Kingdom ending the day dry with some evening sunshine but there will be some light rain for Northern Ireland, Wales and The West Country. This rain spreads into central parts of England and Scotland during the night with eastern areas remaining dry. Minimums of 5 to 10C.
Wednesday
Outbreaks of rain and showers in the west soon spill eastward into much of the United Kingdom this morning though perhaps remaining dry across East Anglia and Kent. Further rain and showers will affect all parts of Britain throughout the afternoon this heaviest across north east England with some sunshine coming through at times, especially across south west England. There will still be some showers and light rain across the northern half of the country into the evening and night, dry in the south. Another chilly day with highs of 11 to 15C.
Thursday
A dry, mostly sunny across the south west of England this morning with the remainder of the United Kingdom seeing further showers. In the afternoon an area of more persistent rain spreads into the West Country with further showers across Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales and the remainder of England. During the evening and night a spell of heavier rain runs into southern England, turning dry to the north. Highs of 11 to 17C.
