Heavy, thundery showers Fewer showers on Monday seiten=4 abk=focus
Sunday
Low pressure is going to be dominating the weather again through the course of Saturday. Heavy showers will be affecting the whole of the British Isles and Ireland. The showers may merge into longer periods of rain at times, especially through Ireland, Wales and the Midlands during the morning, before this area of rain moves into northern England, southern Scotland and East Anglia in the afternoon. A further area of rain affecting southern Ireland on Sunday afternoon. Away from the more persistent rain there will be some sunny spells, but always the risk of heavy showers and a thunderstorms. A breezy day in southern England as well. For the far north of Scotland the day is likely to be cloudier with outbreaks of rain. Temperatures rising to 15C in northern Scotland, 19C in the sunshine over southern England.
Sunday night
The rain and cloud in northern Scotland finally clears Shetland overnight. For most of the rest of Scotland there will be some heavy showers, these lasting all night in the west, although fading from more southern and eastern areas. Showers are expected just about anywhere through England, Wales and Ireland, although the concentration of these is always likely to be across Wales and western England. Staying breezy to the south. Lows around 10 to 14C.
Monday
Low pressure stays close to western Scotland through Monday. There will be more sunshine and showers to come for all; most of the showers by then over the north and west of Scotland. Western coasts of Ireland, Wales and England always at the highest risk of heavy showers, some of them making it inland. Sunny spells between the showers though, the best of these probably through the Midlands, and then eastern England in the afternoon. Temperatures at 15C in western Scotland, 20C over the sunnier parts of the Midlands.
Tuesday
A bright morning, with a mix of sunny spells and scattered showers. Most of the showers again across Scotland, where some may be heavy in the northwest. Western coasts of England and Wales although having showers, but some sunny spells too. The best of the morning sunshine in central and eastern England. Into the afternoon cloud looks set to be increasing from the southwest and this is going to be bringing rain across Ireland, Wales and southwest England, this moving into the rest of England during the evening. That rain could become heavy at times, and it may turn windy. Temperatures at 14 to 19C.
