Plenty of heavy showers Prolonged, heavy rain Saturday seiten=4 abk=focus

Monday
A breezy, unsettled day again across the United Kingdom. Perhaps a dry, sunny start to the morning across East Anglia and the East Midlands before showers develop later. For the bulk of Britain expect showers and sunnier spells, some locally heavy. In the afternoon all areas will have a mixture of sunshine and showers. Many of the showers will again be heavy with a risk of a rumble of thunder. Temperatures still below normal with maximums at 15 to 20C north to south.

Monday Night
An area of heavier rain will spread into the south west of England into Wales this evening with a number of showers across the remainder of the United Kingdom. This rain then pushes into all of England overnight and becoming rather windy along the channel coast. For Scotland and Northern Ireland it looks mainly dry. Expect minimums of 10 to 13C.

Tuesday
An area of rain will linger across northern England through the day. For the rest of England and Wales expect frequent showers, many heavy and only brief sunnier spells. A few showers to come across Northern Ireland and Scotland today. Through the evening and night there remains the risk of rain across northern parts of England. Still a lot of showers as well this evening for the rest of the country which become confined to western and southern coasts overnight. Highs of 16 to 19C.

Wednesday
North Sea coasts may see some early rain but this should clear into the North Sea. Just a few showers this morning for Britain but these again become more widespread in the afternoon and will be heaviest across Scotland and Northern Ireland. Some patchy rain may affect south west England and eastern Scotland overnight. Highs of 15 to 19C.
