Thursday
Some morning showers over the northeast of Scotland this morning, with a threat of a few early showers over northern England as well. Elsewhere through England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland there will be dry conditions and good spells of sunshine, feeling warm too. Increasing cloud through southern Ireland will be bringing cloud and outbreaks of rain here. Into the afternoon the rain will be spreading north and east, probably through Northern Ireland, Wales and into central southern England by mid-afternoon. Temperatures at 14C in western Scotland, as high as 20C in southern England.
Thursday night
Strong winds and rain will be spreading through England and Wales overnight into Friday. The rain probably not lasting too long for most people, with showers following quickly through Ireland, western Wales and the southwest of England. A risk of the winds to gale force here too. Rain may linger longer through the far north of England and southern Scotland. Northern Scotland should stay dry. Lows of 9 to 12C.
Friday
A better day for Friday. It will be breezy with some showers on the west coasts of Wales, western England and Ireland. For most inland places though the day is going to be dry and bright with some good spells of sunshine throughout. Thicker cloud affecting central and northern parts of Scotland, producing a few showers here and there. Eastern Scotland may be brighter though with sunny spells at times. Temperatures at 22C in London, 14C in western Scotland.
Saturday
High pressure temporarily building through the south of the British isles on Saturday. This should bring a fine day to much of England, Wales and southern Ireland, feeling warm in the sunshine too. More fair weather for the southern half of Scotland, but to the north there will be some cloud and a risk of some patchy rain. Highs of 24C in the sunshine in southern England, 16C in northern Scotland.
